ADOPTABLE CATS
We have many cats in our foster-to-adopt program that are available for adoption now!
Adoptable cats in our lounge
The cats listed in this section are currently in our lounge and available for adoption unless otherwise noted. You can make a reservation to visit our lounge and meet these cats. Visiting our lounge does not guarantee adoption. We do not do same day adoptions.
All of the cats in our lounge are adoptable.
Most of the cats in our lounge are very socialized cats and will benefit from having another feline friend at home regardless of their age. *Keep in mind that we base cats needing another cat friend in the home on personality not age. Our medical costs are based on age but that does not mean cats over 6 months old can be adopted alone.* We have cats that would be good on their own in a home so if you are just looking to adopt one cat please let us know and we can introduce you to those cats.
We typically have around 15-20 adoptable cats available for adoption in our lounge. New cats come to the lounge every Tuesday!
Please do not apply to adopt until you have visited our lounge.
If you are looking for a specific personality or type of cat email adopt@thecatcade.org and chat with our Adoption Coordinator first before visiting.
Medical costs are $100 per cat over 6 months and $150 per cat under 6 months. These fees help us cover the cost that it takes to get these cats all of their vetting. Each adoptable cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV and Felv, microchipped, and given flea preventative and at least one round of dewormer.
We do not do same day adoptions.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
If you rent, you must have landlord approval or a lease that shows cats are allowed.
If you own your home please have ID and/or a utility bill to confirm address.
Adopters must be 21 years and older, show proof of US residency.
All roommates and adults that live in the home must give consent to having the cat(s) in the home.
Please be prepared to show current and up-to-date vet records for any animals in the home.
If/when you fill out an application it does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt. We will review applications and have interviews with potential adopters to make sure cats are placed into the best home for the cat.
